It has come to our attention that John Cleese, former Cornell’s Andrew D. White Professor-at-Large from 1999 to 2006 and current Provost’s visiting professor has dressed up as Adolf Hitler. At Cornell, woke rules must apply.
While we are certain that Cornell must publicly apologize and build a new anti-antisemitism center run by a giga-bureaucracy, we are not sure what Cornell should apologize for:
Is dressing up as Adolf Hitler cultural appropriation similar to the egregious offense committed by two Cornell football players and a coach who tweeted the pictures of the sombrero-wearing football players?

Is dressing up as Adolf Hitler offensive, culturally insensitive and inappropriate like the Cornell’s Cinco de Octubre promotion?

Or is dressing up as Adolf Hitler similar to the images of blatant racism on campus found in Cornell Yearbooks?

The Babbling Bear will not feel safe until Cornell takes responsibility for the Provost’s visiting professor and builds a new anti-antisemitism center run by a giga-bureaucracy.
