As reported by the Lancaster Daily Evening Express, on February 16, 1861 Abraham Lincoln kissed a pretty girl with whom the groomer President-elect had corresponded by letter.
The sexual assault occurred at North East station, Ohio where President-elect Lincoln shamelessly told the crowd that was gathered to hear his speech that during the campaign he had received a letter from a young girl from North East station.
In the letter, the young girl kindly admonished the President-elect to “let his whiskers grow.”
To win favor with the young girl, President-elect Lincoln acted upon her advice and grew a beard.
He then invited the young girl, if she were there, to come up to the platform from which he was speaking.
The poor girl made her way through the crowd and was helped on to the platform by the President-elect’s enablers.
Then the President-elect kissed the girl.
This would all be acceptable if the first Republican president had not been a cis-heterosexual male but a drag queen or some other member of the gender-affirming LGBTQ community.
