Loan Forgiveness

Dear Babbling Bear,

I am very concerned that our president has not yet reassured us , expressing her support to all the folx who took student loans, signed all those fancy schmancy words about being expected to pay them back and stuff. Cornell education is very expensive, and we were hoping to have all that paperwork to be discarded because Cornell clearly cares about its students, especially the DEI ones. I certainly was not thinking that I would have to abide by rules set by capitals behemoths because I knew that Cornell would be on my side and tell them all to go home.
Hours later, there’s STILL no word from our Martha, and I am getting seriously concerned. I mean, yesterday she sent an email to the whole Cornell community about how much she disagreed with the Supreme Court’s decision about Affirmative Care. Here we are, anxiously glued to our VERY expensive iPhones and Apple laptops, waiting for her to say SOMETHING, to no avail. The silence is DEAFENING
Doesn’t; our president understand that this is a LITERAL assault on our human rights? What about the LGBTQQIP2SA+ folx who deserve even more of the social justice?

I am going to stay up till tomorrow morning, checking my email every minute or so, hoping to hear something back.

Actually, “concerned” is not a word that’s strong enough. I am LITERALLY concerned.

Most sincerely yours,

Concerned Student.
